Dear Teachers

Hello, lovebugs!
The new school year is approaching and as I sit here in my parent's backyard relaxing I'm beginning to realize that I need to start getting my teacher game face on. Last year, I let a lot of things get to me and it affected my teaching some. The main thing that bothered me, was being LIED to at the beginning of the year and then to be smiled at like nothing was said. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't communicate well with liars or fakes. However, that is the past and I'm ready for a new school year. I refuse to let gossips, liars, and negative people take my joy of teaching this school year. In your times of trouble come back to this blog post and watch this video for encouragement. I love ya'll and I love your support!

  1. Miss May,
Hello! Thank you so much for this video. I stumbled upon a video of yours on YouTube while I was doing some work on my procedures list (I also take a day and just write down the many procedures that I need to teach like you said in your video). Anyway, just wanted to say that I loved your message. I have been teaching first grade for a handful of years and my year last year was challenging to say the least (both personally and professionally). Your video put a smile on my face as I could tell you know all about the different experiences that teaching brings us. Anyway, just wanted to reach out and say how much this teacher enjoyed the joy that you spread via video and even your blog. I tried to email you but I don't see it listed; hence, I have left a rather long comment! LOL Take care! And have a beautiful new school year!
